Ceylon Crab House - Kuala Lumpur
Ceylon Crab House is located at Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC). This is the first time I had Sri Lankan food. We reached there around 7pm and the restaurant is empty. BSC is like a dead mall and I wonder how long this restaurant will sustain. Since we are the only customer, the staff are very attentive and friendly. Basically we are here to try their Sri Lankan Crabs. There's three types of Sri Lankan Crabs: 1. XXL - RM 22 per 100g 2. XXXL - RM 24 per 100g 3. Jumbo - RM 26 per 100g We ordered the XXL Sri Lankan crabs (~ 900g) cooked in Negombo curry style, chicken varuval, Sri Lankan Roast Paan and white rice. Roast Paan is Sri Lanka's most loved traditional type of bread but it tastes just like normal bread to me. I love chicken varuval, spicy dry fried chicken cooked with roasted curry powder, onions, ginger, garlic and fresh tamarind juice.
