Frontera Sol of Mexico is located at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya. This restaurant serves authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. This was my forth time here in Frontera and I really enjoyed it. Since it's just the two of us, we decided to order burrito and tacos. Burrito is a type of Mexican-American food, consist of wheat flour tortilla wrapped into a cylindrical shape and stuffed with fillings. Whereas tacos if formed by folding tortilla in half.

You get to select minimum 2 side dishes of your choice when you order Tex-Mex Burrito. Additional side dishes will be charged RM 6 each. These are the side dishes:

Side dishes: Mexican rice, mashed potatoes, Frontera fries, Jalapeno coleslaw, refried beans, Pico de Gallo, Sonora Veggies, Sauteed mushroom (add RM 3) and Guacamole (add RM 3)

Tex-Mex Burrito consist of either seasoned minced beef or shredded chicken, refried beans, Jack & Cheddar cheese and Frontera hot sauce topped with chili con queso (cheese). We ordered shredded chicken instead of minced beef and selected Mexican rice and Japapeno coleslaw as our side dishes. It was good. The Mexican rice was full of flavour and burrito was delicious.

Next, we ordered 2 pieces of beef tacos - consist of seasoned minced beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese & tacos sauce. You can select either crispy corn or soft flour tortillas. We decided to try both. Crispy corns are crunchy while flour tortillas are soft and chewy. Both crispy corns and flour tortillas were delicious and the fillings, full of flavour. If you asked me what is my preference? I will say crispy corn...

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Room type: a) Standard quad room b) Standard double room without balcony c) Standard double room with balcony d) Dormitory - 10 person e) Camping We stayed in a standard double room without balcony. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
