Tiffin - Weil Hotel Ipoh

Tiffin located at the lobby level of Weil Hotel serves local and international flavours. Our stay in Weil Hotel comes with buffet breakfast for two. Buffet breakfast starts from 6.30am till 10.30am. Tiffin buffet breakfast serves pastries, breads, cereals, fried noodles (fried kueh teow), soup noodles, variety of eggs, tim sum, rice (nasi lemak), hash browns, pancakes, waffles, sausages, hams, salads, fruits and drinks.

I always ask for fried egg and usually have it with baked beans and hash brown. These are the most common food served in any buffet breakfast. Hash brown was good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Besides that, I tried their nasi lemak with chicken rendang and it was good. Light, fluffy and fragrant rice best eaten together with sambal and chicken rendang. However the sambal was a bit too spicy for me.

I love their plain soya too as the texture were smooth and thick. It's good that they serve it plain so that you can add your own amount of sugar. Glad that I requested them to refill the plain soya. I didn't have the chance to try their egg congee because no refill has been carried out. Same goes for the fruits section. I believe the staff should take more initiative at work instead of me asking them to refill this and that. Well... just leave my stomach some space for other yummy food in Ipoh town.
