YNOT Graffiti Competition and the 8 Bus Shelter Graffiti Masterpieces

Resorts World Genting is hosting a Graffiti Art Competition. Graffiti is often associated with street art and is usually looked upon negatively as juvenile acts and vandalism. The objective of this competition is to provide a channel for these artists to be appreciated and to display their masterpieces. It also aims to encourage the public to appreciate their works of art.

The competition is open to all graffiti art enthusiasts who are 18 years old and above as of 1 January 2013. There are two categories available - open category & student category. 20 finalist each will be selected from the open category and student category (based on Facebook fans' votes and panel of judges' decision) and the selected finalists will then be invited to paint their artworks according to their submitted concept at Resorts World Genting on 11th and 12th April 2013 with the unveiling ceremony scheduled on 13th and 14th of April 2013. In conjunction with the Graffiti Art Competition, Resorts World Genting have installed 8 masterpieces (prepared by 3 colleges & 2 artists) on 8 bus shelters around Klang Valley. Check out the below pictures to find out the locations. You might be a few lucky ones to attend the Finale Event in Genting Highlands on the 13th & 14th April 2013 by tagging Resorts World Genting a picture of you with the artwork. The Pines Restaurant (Kinabalu Pine Resort) - Kundasang, Sabah

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Room type: a) Standard quad room b) Standard double room without balcony c) Standard double room with balcony d) Dormitory - 10 person e) Camping We stayed in a standard double room without balcony. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
