Old Traditional Yukgaejang is just 3 minutes walking distance (235m) from Aloft Seoul Myeongdong. We ordered Old Traditional Yukagejang (hot spicy beef soup) and Yukgaejang Seolleongtang (white beef bone soup). Both dishes comes with a bowl of rice and hot soup on a cold day is very comforting. I prefer the hot spicy beef soup as it's more flavourful. White beef bone soup has a milky white broth and taste unappealingly bland. Both dishes consists of beef strips, leek, vegetables and glass noodles.

After lunch we took bus no. 401 to Starfield Coex Mall (Bus fare - ₩ 1,200 per person). The mall is popular for its gorgeous Starfield Library. Apart from that, there's a casino connects to the mall. Seven Luck Casino is a small casino with limited table game and slot machine. There's only two floors and 2nd floor is for VIP guests. You will need to present your passport before entering the casino.

We had our tea break at Billy Angel Cake Bar, just next to the Starfield Library. I ordered Devil's chocolate cake and a glass of strawberry yogurt shake. Chocolate cake is rich and moist but on the sweeter side. Strawberry yogurt on the other hand has a tangy yogurt flavour.

K-Star Road is one of the main attraction in Gangnam-gu. From Apgujeong Rodeo Station towards Cheongdam Crossroad you will find Gangnamdol, a sculpture of the famous K-pop group printed on the human scale bear doll. We took bus no. 4318 from Starfield Coex Mall to K-Star Road to check out those Gangnamdol (Bus fare - ₩ 1,200 per person).

We decided to have our dinner in Gangnam. Both of us love beef and we ended up at Aging Science Wooga. This restaurant is known for preparing the choicest quality local beef in its unique dry aged style. We ordered aged ribeye (376g), bean curd radish soup and a bowl of rice. I don't really enjoy the bean curd radish soup as it's a bit salty but the aged ribeye is really good. It's tender and juicy. The waiter helped us to grill the meat and without knowing there's actually an additional ₩ 10,000 for the roaster charge!

The waiter has a very good grilling skill but doesn't look friendly at all. He removed the beef tendon and cooked it together with the vegetables and enoki mushroom. End of the meal there's complimentary ice cream or coffee / tea.

After dinner we head back to our hotel in Myeongdong. We took bus no. 472 (9 stops) from Gangnam-gu to Myeongdong (Bus fare - ₩ 1,200 per person). Since it's our last night in Myeongdong we decided to do a last minute shopping and street food hunting. I bought a bottle of Sulwhasoo cleanser (200ml) from La Nueva. It's a good deal as the original price was ₩ 42,000 and after discount the price went down to ₩ 23,000.

Finally I tried the mochi strawberry. A thin layer of rice cake wrapped around a fresh strawberry and at the bottom of the strawberry there's red bean paste. Rice cake or also known as mochi is chewy but strawberry is a bit sour. Red bean paste is sweet enough to balance up the whole thing. My partner bought a piece of egg bread which I don't really fancy. It's an oblong shaped muffin with a whole egg on top. Basically, that ends our food journey in Seoul...

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
