Elegant Inn Hong Kong Cuisine - Kuala Lumpur

Image
Elegant Inn Hong Kong Cuisine is just 4 minutes walking distance (350m) from  Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur . The restaurant ambience is nice and the price is on the high side. We ordered a f ried beancurd roll with shrimps and cheese, a  d eep fried taro pouch also known as wu kok, s hrimp dumplings, d ried scallop organic veg shrimp dumplings, s iew mai with fish roe and c entury egg congee.   I like their f ried beancurd roll with shrimp and cheese, wu kok  and shrimp dumplings. The outer layer of the fried beancurd roll is crispy and shrimp is fresh and juicy. The combination of cheese, shrimp and beancurd is perfect. Wu kok  on the other hand, has a unique blend of crispy, creamy, sweet and savory elements. What I like about the wu kok is that they used lean meat instead of fat. Their shrimp dumplings have a silky, slightly chewy thin skin and are filled with fresh shrimp.  However, the century egg congee tastes ordinary and lacks flavour. The Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur is located in Jalan Raja Chulan, just 16 minutes walk (1.2km) from Suria KLCC shopping mall or 5 minutes walk (500m) from Changkat Bukit Bintang. Changkat street is famous for bars, nightclubs, live music and restaurants. The Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur reception counter is at level 1, and a key card is required for access to the guest room floor. Upon check-in, we were given a shower cap, two vanity kits, two toothbrushes and two pairs of disposable slippers at the reception counter. We stayed three nights in a standard room, which comes with a queen-size bed, a wall-mounted TV with limited channels, a couch, air conditioning with individual temperature control, two complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, an in-room safe, a mini fridge, a working desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, a wall-mounted hair dryer, a wall-mounted shower gel and hand soap. The room is modern, bright, clean and comfortable. I like the window co

Crystal Crown Hotel - Petaling Jaya

The Crystal Crown Hotel is located in Petaling Jaya, approximately 15 minutes walk (1.1km) from the University Malaya Medical Centre or 30 minutes walk (2.5km) from the University Malaya. We stayed two nights in a superior room that comes with a king-size bed, a wall mounted TV with limited channels, air conditioning with individual temperature control, two complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, a mini fridge, a working desk, a pair of disposable slippers, complimentary Wi-Fi and basic toiletries. The room is really spacious with wooden flooring, however it is not very clean and appears old. The bed is bouncy and not very comfortable. Apart from that, there is no in-room safe and they only provide one pair of disposable slippers. There are just two pillows for the two of us, plus one on top of the wardrobe. The bathroom has a sliding door with no lock and shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. The hotel only provide
