Party Play Lifestyle Cafe - Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Most of the time we will have early dinner to avoid traffic jams and crowds. Besides, it's easier to look for a parking spot during off peak hours. This time we decided to check out Party Play. Located at Gaya Street, Kota Kinabalu - Sabah, we found a great parking spot right in front of the restaurant. When we got there before 6pm, only three tables were occupied. All of them were there just to grab a drink. We went through the menu and ordered grilled Tasmanian lamb shoulder and honey grilled chicken fillet. Initially I wanted to order pan roaster butter fish fillet but seems that they have yet to defrost the fish. So, I ended up with honey grilled chicken fillet. There's eight main course for you to choose from: 1) Grilled Tasmanian lamb shoulder - RM 28 2) Braised lamb shank - RM 36 3) Grilled grainfed angus rib eye -  RM 75 4) Honey grilled chicken fillet - RM 28 5) Pan fried Tasmanian salmon - RM 36 6) Pan roasted cod fillet - RM 45 7) Classic snapper fish and

If you are looking for a budget hotel in George Town Penang, you may consider HelicoNia hotel. Located next to Hotel Sentral George Town Penang, HelicoNia Hotel is within walking distance to Lorong Selamat (famous char kueh teow) and Penang Road famous Teochew Chendul. I have tried both the char kueh teow and Teochew Chendul and I think it's overrated. One plate of Lorong Selamat char kueh teow cost more than RM 10 while a bowl of Teochew Chendul cost RM 2.50. The last time I had Lorong Selamat char kueh teow was one year ago and it was very salty. This time I can taste the burned wok flavour. I believe you can get a better char kueh teow elsewhere in Penang at a cheaper price. It was an impromptu business trip to Penang. We managed to get a really cheap over the weekend airfare (roughly RM 40 per person) from Kota Kinabalu to Penang via Air Asia Big on the day itself. By the time we checked in HelicoNia Hotel it was almost midnight. We stayed in a deluxe queen room with no wind
