Cititel Mid Valley - Kuala Lumpur

Cititel Mid Valley is located in Mid Valley City and it's connected to Mid Valley Shopping Mall. We booked two rooms with connecting door since my partner's cousin will be joining us as well. They allowed us for early check in at 11am. Our room comes with a queen size bed while his cousin's room comes with two single beds.

The rooms are small and cramped. In fact, I have to keep my cabin size luggage close all the time because there's not enough space for two open luggage. This reminds me of Japan. The room looks modern, bright and clean but the air conditioner not cooling enough. Minimum temperature for the air conditioner setting is 22℃. Bed is bouncy but pillow is comfy.

Our room comes with a ceiling fan, in-room safe, free WiFi, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, LCD TV with limited channels (Astro Supersport channel is lagging), mini fridge, disposable slippers, 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water, coffee or tea making facilities, working desk and basic toiletries. Shower area is small and there's only half glass partition between shower and toilet area. Normal water pressure and water is hot enough. There's only one wall mounted liquid soup which I assume can be used for both body and hair wash as there's no label on it.

Basically it's a stylish business hotel with no swimming pool or fitness amenities and key card is required for access to guest room floor.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
