Sydney - Day 2 (Bondi Junction - Tamarama beach - Bondi baths - Bondi beach)

Image
We started off Day 2 in Sydney with a healthy homemade breakfast by Shyan and Leo. They prepared bread with  cherry tomatoes, mashed avocado served with omelette and spring onions for us :). Thank you for the wonderful breakfast... After we had our breakfast, they drove us to Bondi Junction to meet up with Daz and Sam for yum cha (eating dim sum). Dim sum is a Chinese cuisine of steamed or fried savoury served in small baskets or on small plates. We had our dim sum at Zilver Chinese Cuisine Alchemy located in Bondi Junction, a large shopping centre. We reached there before 11.30am and the crowd started showing up by noon. Glad that we went early! There's ladies pushing carts of food around the dining room and we ordered different types of dim sum. Shyan and Leo kept ordering until we were so full and couldn't eat anymore. Thanks for the lovely dim sum. Sydney - Day 1

Sydney and Melbourne have always been on my bucket list for a long time and finally my dream came true! We managed to get a return ticket from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) to Sydney Airport (transit at KLIA) for the price of RM 1,697 per person via MAS and Sydney Airport to Melbourne Tullamarine via Jetstar for the price of $ 122 per person. As usual, it was a morning flight and we have to wake up at 3am to catch the 5.35am flight from KKIA to KLIA. Our flight was on schedule and we reached KLIA around 8.10am. We have to rushed to another gate for our next connecting flight to Sydney departing at 9.10am. The boarding time was 8.10am and basically it was quite rushing for us. The flight took approximately 8 hours and 20 minutes to reach Sydney. By the time we reached Sydney it's 7.30pm local time. (Sydney and Melbourne is 2 hours ahead of Malaysia) We had three in flight meals including tea break. We were lucky that MAS has upgraded us to Premium economy class. We g

Manhattan Business Hotel - Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya

Manhattan Business Hotel is located in Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya. We took a Grab car from Genting Highlands to Manhattan Business Hotel (Cost: RM 71) and the journey took us around 1 hour. We choose to stay one night at this hotel right after we came down from Genting Highlands because we rented a car from SOCAR and the designated spot is just below the hotel parking lot. It's so convenient as you just need to unlock the car using Smartkey in the app and return the car back to its designated spot and lock up with the Smartkey. We rented a Toyota Altis for 28 hours which cost us around RM 110. We checked in around 2pm and stayed in a deluxe queen room without window. The room comes with a queen size bed, LCD TV with limited channels, in room safe, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, free internet, hair dryer, toiletries, individual air-conditioning temperature control and a dressing table. The room is small but it's clean and com
