Burger & Lobster KLCC - Kuala Lumpur

Image
The first time we had Burger & Lobster was back in 2018 at Binney Street, London. When its first outlet open at Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands we were so excited. Finally, it has landed in KLCC and we decided to give it a try. However, the menu is totally different from what we had at Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands except for the lobster roll. We order the sharing combo for two comes with whole lobster either grilled or steamed or half & half, one burger of your choice*, one roll of your choice, any two sides and their signature lemon and garlic butter sauce. *Upgrade to the beast burger for RM 25. Sides: a) Fries b) Salad c) Salted egg yolk fries d) Truffle fries e) Sweet potato fries f) Coconut rice We had half grilled and half steamed lobster served with lemon and garlic butter. I prefer the grilled lobster. It's fresh and tasty. However, we didn't really enjoy the beast burger as the homemade sesame seed brioche bun is hard and beef patty has a strong flavour. Their

I'm a big fan of mochi, a small, soft and chewy Japanese dessert made from glutinous rice flour. At last, I managed to grab 2 packets of m ixed mochi and fruit mochi at the airport.  Apart from that, I love sun biscuits or also known as taiyang bing, a popular Taiwanese dessert. It has a very flaky crust with a lightly sweet maltose filling.  Besides that, I bought a packet of c risp pork with sesame & almond and honey mulberry candy. The crisp pork doesn't taste that good to me but honey mulberry candy is nice. It's soft and gummy. Tarts with nuts are good too. There's macadamia nuts and walnuts mixed with dried cranberries.  My partner who loves meat, grab a few packets of beef jerky and Taiwan sausages. Snow purposely went all the way to Taipei City and got us two boxes of  Chia Te pineapple pastry. There's original pineapple pastry, pineapple & egg yolk pastry and cranberry pineapple pastry. I'm not really that kind of girl who likes pineapple but I

Taiwan - Day 10 (Taoyuan)

We checked out from Chang Gung Hostel at 12pm and left our luggage at Alan's factory. His mum brought us for lunch at this ramen restaurant. I have no idea what ramen flavour that I order because the menu is all in Chinese language. I assumed my partner had the original Tonkotsu ramen while I had Tonkotsu ramen with black garlic as there's a strong garlic aftertaste. Our ramen comes with pork slices, green negi, black fungus, bean sprouts and dried seaweed. Ramen texture is just perfect for me. 豚將拉麵林口長庚店 Restaurant ambience Original Tonkotsu ramen Tonkotsu ramen with black garlic Address: 豚將拉麵林口長庚店 No. 19, Lane 212, Fuxingyi Rd, Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan 333 Alan's mum walked us to Global Mall and along the way she bought us a cup of milk tea with grass jelly from Coco. The milk tea is mild in taste and not too sweet. Coco - Milk tea with grass jelly Address: Coco No. 62, Fuxing 1st Rd, Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan 333 Global Mall  Taoyuan A8 is loca
