Rooms Hotel is located in Kubota Square, easily accessible to eating places and Tawau Airport is just 30 minutes drive (28km) from the hotel. We decided to stay here for 2 nights after our Pom Pom - Mataking Island trip. Basically it's just a shoplot turn into a hotel. There's only 3 floors and hotel lift is small, which probably can fit 4 person without luggage. Lift requires a room card in order to access guest room floor. We stayed in a deluxe twin room since their superior queen and superior king room are all fully occupied. Our room comes with two single beds, wall mounted fuzzy TV with limited Astro channels, working desk, wall mounted hair dryer, free WiFi (access for 2 devices only), disposable slippers, coffee or tea making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, self controlled air conditioning and toiletries. Mataking Reef Resort is located at Mataking Island, 15 minutes boat ride from Pom Pom Island Resort. There's 6 types of room - Garden view deluxe, Premium room, King chalet, Semi-D beach chalet, Beach chalet and Villa. All together there's 63 rooms.
