Moonlight Cake House - Johor Bahru

Moonlight Cake House is located just a few shoplots away from J Hotel. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with soothing music in the background.

I ordered the western breakfast set (fish balls spaghetti) which served with a drink (Coffee/ Tea/ 100 plus/ Coke/ Iced Lemon Tea/ Sprite). The fish balls spaghetti set came with a bottle of Yakult, small portion of spaghetti, 4 fish balls, salad and 2 marshmallows. The spaghetti was delicious and cooked al dente (pasta that's fully cooked but not overly soft). The fish balls were tasty too.

Besides that we ordered 2 pieces of cake, the marble cheese cake and neutral mille crepe. The marble cheese cake that I used to eat consist of a topping made of cheese on a base made from hard biscuits such as graham cracker crust. However this marble cheese cake that we ordered consist of a topping made of cheese on a base made from chocolate cake. The cheese cake wasn't cheesy enough and the base made from chocolate cake wasn't moist enough.

Next we tried the neutral mille crepe. Basically is a French cake made from many crepe layers with cream. It wasn't really flavourful and in fact we find it tasteless. Overall I wasn't impressed with their cakes but what I enjoyed most was the fish balls spaghetti.
