Burger & Lobster KLCC - Kuala Lumpur

The first time we had Burger & Lobster was back in 2018 at Binney Street, London. When its first outlet open at Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands we were so excited. Finally, it has landed in KLCC and we decided to give it a try. However, the menu is totally different from what we had at Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands except for the lobster roll.

We order the sharing combo for two comes with whole lobster either grilled or steamed or half & half, one burger of your choice*, one roll of your choice, any two sides and their signature lemon and garlic butter sauce. *Upgrade to the beast burger for RM 25.

Sides:
a) Fries
b) Salad
c) Salted egg yolk fries
d) Truffle fries
e) Sweet potato fries
f) Coconut rice

We had half grilled and half steamed lobster served with lemon and garlic butter. I prefer the grilled lobster. It's fresh and tasty. However, we didn't really enjoy the beast burger as the homemade sesame seed brioche bun is hard and beef patty has a strong flavour. Their beast burger comes with juicy beef patty on a homemade sesame seed brioche bun with truffle mayo, fennel and Chinese cabbage slaw, lobster claw and melted brie cheese.

We were quite disappointed with the original lobster roll. It comes with chilled lobster meat dressed in lemon mayo, served in brioche roll with a garnish of chives and lemon & garlic butter but it doesn't taste as good as we had it at Binney Street and Sky Avenue. We choose salted egg yolk fries and sweet potato fries for our sides. Both taste good when it's hot. Overall we are not impressed with the dinner that night...
