Hotel Papa Whale - Taipei, Taiwan
Hotel Papa Whale is located in Ximending area just 6 minutes walk (650m) from Ximending Night Market. We stayed in a double room comes with a double bed, working desk, wall mounted TV with at least 200 channels, complimentary WiFi but speed is slow, disposable slippers, in-room safe, hair dryer, mini fridge, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, self controlled hot & cold air conditioning and complete toiletries.
Room is small, clean and stylish with a unique creative design. Key card is required for access to guest room floor. However, finding our room is like going through a maze. Apart from that, our room has no windows. Bed is comfy but they only provide two pillows. There's no lock for both the shower and toilet door. Water pressure is good and water is hot enough. They have this telephone shaped shower head but water is spraying everywhere.
Initially, we plan to stay 3 nights in this hotel. However, on our first night we couldn't get a proper sleep. We can hear luggage rolling and guests talking in the wee hours of the morning. The walls are so paper thin that we can hear showers and "X-rated sound". Luckily the drama ended around 2am and finally we can get some sleep...
