Kuching, Sarawak - Day 6 (Kuching Town)

Finally on our last day in Kuching the drilling sound from the hotel room renovation woke us up at 8.30am. Since we couldn't fall back to sleep anymore, we decided to go for a quick breakfast before we check out from the hotel. So we took a Grab ride to Sin Poh Poh Cafe, 5 minutes drive (1.7km) from Hilton, Kuching. (Grab fare - RM 4).

I had kampua mee with fish balls and bbq pork while my partner had pork leg rice with teh ping (milk tea). I can only taste the sweetness in the teh ping but not the teh ping taste. Kampua mee noodles texture is soft and flavourful but a bit dry for me. It's good to mix it with the curry broth served together with the pork leg rice.

The pork leg rice comes with braised eggs, tofu, pickled cucumber and pork served with curry broth and soy sauce soup with a strong taste of pepper. We took Grab ride back to our hotel (Grab fare - RM 4) and check out at 10.50am.

Kuching International Airport is approximately 16 minutes drive (9.3km) from Hilton, Kuching. (Grab fare - RM 11). We checked in our luggage and since we have another one hour before the boarding time, we hang around the Plaza Premium Lounge. It's a small lounge and there's not much food & drink selection. Our flight departs at 1.10pm and one hour twenty minutes later we have reached Kota Kinabalu International Airport. That ends our 6 days 5 nights Kuching trip.
