Dorsett Grand Labuan - Labuan

Dorsett Grand Labuan is the only five star hotel on the island located just 3 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk from Labuan Ferry Terminal. We stayed 2 nights in a deluxe room comes with a king size bed, working desk, LCD TV with limited TV channels, couch, disposable in-room slippers, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, electronic safe box, mini fridge, individual controlled air conditioning, coffee or tea making facilities, 2 bottles of complimentary drinking water, toiletries and complementary Wi-Fi.

Spacious and comfortable room with a private balcony overlooking Labuan town. Bathroom comes with a bathtub and water runs hot even after a long shower with good water pressure. Hotel facilities include gym and swimming pool. Parking is free however there's no sign of any guard and there's no lift from car park to hotel lobby. You have to walk one floor up. So if you are carrying a luggage bag, it's better that you drop off your luggage bag at the hotel entrance before parking your car. Unless you want to train your biceps...

First night wasn't a very pleasant stay for me. Maybe because I was having a bad migraine, I felt someone nudged my back before jumping up and down on my bed around 2am in the morning. I forced open my eyes and saw nothing except my partner who was snoring like a choo-choo train beside me. I just brushed it aside the next day like nothing happened and glad that I sleep soundly through the second night...
