Beauty And The Beast The Musical - Sunway Lagoon

This was my first time watching a live musical show and in fact one of my favourite Disney fairy tale - Beauty and the Beast. The story of a handsome prince turned into a ugly beast by an enchantress after he refused to offer her a shelter. The enchantress gave him a red ross which will bloom until his twenty first birthday. In order to break the spell, he must love and be loved in return before the last petal falls. Else he will remain a beast forever...

The musical show started around 8.30pm, 2 hours show with a 15-minute intermission and ended around 10.30pm. Besides singing the famous Beauty and the Beast, Be Our Guest, Go The Distance (a song from Disney animated feature film, Hercules), they even sang the Oppa Gangnam Style and Ghostbusters song! The audience let out a cheer when the musical team sang and dance the Oppa Gangnam Style. I was hoping for them to sing one of my favourite song - Something There, but sadly the song was not in the list. This musical show is more towards the contemporary musical. Overall the musical show was entertaining. I just love the live musician and the live band. However I saw one of the audience dozed off during the show and only woke up when they played the Beauty and the Beast song.

Just like any other fairy tale, they lived happily ever after... At the end of the show, there were snow spraying and the musical team sang Christmas songs...
