Kuantan, Pahang - Food Hunting Trip (Day II)

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, we started our day with a buffet breakfast at Legend Resort. I was craving for nasi lemak but was disappointed when I found out that they only served nasi goreng and mee goreng. Both the nasi goreng and mee goreng were cold when they brought out from the kitchen. The food doesn't taste good and not much of a variety.

Everyone was talking about how good the curry noodles in this Restoran Hoi Yin. So we said "die die" also we must try the curry noodles. When we reached the restaurant it was almost 1.20pm and we were too late! All the curry mee already sold out and only left the noodle soup. Since we were here, we decided to try the noodle soup instead. It was ok and the chicken was really tender and juicy. I am a fishball lover and I kinda like the fish ball and the fish cake here. :)

Francis Western Food is located inside the 888 Food Court at Medan Selera Teluk Sisek. This stall served western food such as fried chicken chop, grill chicken chop, grill chicken cheese, fish and chips, grill fish, lamb chop, beef steak, mixed grill and spagetti. Each meal comes with a free soup of the day. I had fish and chips and the freshness of the fish can be tasted in every bite. Oh yeah... and the coleslaw taste good too.

Asked any of your friends who stayed in Kuantan and sure they will recommend you to try satay Zul. We tried the rabbit, chicken, beef and venison satay. I will say the beef satay is the best. It was so tender and was well marinated. On the other hand, the rabbit satay was tough. Even tougher than the chicken satay. I like the satay sauce which was sweet and not so spicy.

Terminal Satay Zul do not give free cucumber and onion compared to other satay stall. You need to pay RM1 for the cucumber/onion. Besides satay, they have nasi lemak, nasi dagang, mee curry, mee bakso, nasi goreng, mee goreng, burung puyoh goreng and tauhu sumbat. They even have a special counter for take away orders.
