Perth - Day 15 (Pinn's Palace - Kim's Butcher)

Pinn's Palace is a Chinese Restaurant in Perth. They serve dim sum, noodles and other Chinese dishes. Within a week we actually had dim sum twice! The restaurant was quite empty on weekday. We ordered yam dumpling (wu kok), steamed custard bun, steamed BBQ pork bun, crispy pastry rice flour rolls, beef tendon, steamed chicken feet, pork & prawn dumplings, almond prawn balls, bean curd prawn rolls, and scallop & prawn dumplings.

I like their yam dumpling or also known as wu kok in Cantonese. It's a savory crispy taro dumpling stuffed with meat filling. Steamed BBQ pork bun is good too. I think their yam dumpling and steamed BBQ pork bun taste better compared to Dragon Palace that we had on Sunday.

Total bill - $ 98.20

On the way back home, we dropped by Kim's Butcher to get some wagyu beef and pork for our BBQ dinner tonight. Wagyu BBQ (harami) is good. It's buttery tender with a smooth velvety texture. You just need to season it with salt and pepper on both side. However, I still prefer charcoal-grilled meat over gas grilling as it's tastier with a smoky flavour.
