Sydney - Day 4 (Cabramatta - Macquarie Centre - Cafe Sydney - Sydney Harbour Bridge - Sydney Opera House)

Cabramatta is Sydney's largest Vietnamese community and it's about 35 minutes drive from Kellyville. Daz and Sam decided to bring us there for lunch and we had pho at Pho Ann Vietnamese Restaurant. Pho is a Vietnamese soup consists of rice noodles, herbs and meat. Bean sprouts, lime wedges and Thai basil are served separately from the bowl of pho. I had beef noodle soup with beef brisket while my partner had beef noodle soup with cooked beef. Both Daz and Sam had beef noodle soup with rare beef. Even though we ordered the small bowl, the portion was huge. Nothing beats a bowl of hot noodles in a cold day.

After lunch, we walked around Cabramatta before having our coffee break at Cafe Nho located just opposite Pho Ann Vietnamese Restaurant. Daz ordered iced coffee with less condensed milk while my partner ordered iced coffee with condensed milk. The coffee is strong and slightly bitter. Me and Sam shared a bowl of Vietnamese rainbow coconut dessert. It comes with jelly, red ruby, red bean and coconut milk. It has a nice coconut flavour that's not too sweet or over powering.

We left Cabramatta around 1.45pm and went to Macquarie Centre, a large shopping mall in the suburb of Macquarie Park. It's about 35 minutes drive from Cabramatta. We hang around the mall and Sam took us to Koi for dessert. We ordered Nomtella (consists of dark chocolate brownie, coffee mousse, salted caramel ganache and hazelnuts) and Champagne Rose (consists of champagne rose mousse, baked cheesecake, mixed berry gel and strawberry whipped ganache). Nomtella is good. The coffee mousse texture is light and fluffy. Most importantly it's not too sweet. Champagne Rose on the other hand has a hint of sourness.

After our tea break, we say goodbye to Daz and Sam before walking over to Macquaire University Station located just beside Macquarie Centre. We're meeting up with Shyan at her office in Redfern. There's no direct train from Macquaire University Station to Redfern Station. So we took a train from Macquaire University Station to Redfern Station via Chatswood Station.

Shyan and Leo drove us to Cafe Sydney for dinner. They have made a reservation for dinner at 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Cafe Sydney has an amazing location on the rooftop of Custom House with spectacular harbour view. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Even though weather was chilly around 15℃, they have a space heater to keep us warm. Dinner was great and thank you so much Shyan and Leo for the perfect evening.
