Sydney - Day 3 (Taronga Zoo - Sydney Opera House - Sydney Harbour Bridge - Circular Quay - The Rocks - Chatswood)

We had our breakfast at the Coffee Emporium Rouse located at Rouse Hill Town Centre on our 3rd day in Sydney. Me and my partner shared a plate of TCE big brekkie that comes with 2 eggs your way, sourdough toast, grilled bacon, chorizo (pork sausage), cherry tomatoes, roasted mushrooms and hash browns. We prefer scrambled eggs and it was good. Love the crispy hash browns too.

After we had our breakfast, Daz drove us to Kellyville's Station and all of us took a train from Kellyville Station to Wynyard Station via Chatswood Station. There's no direct train from Kellyville Station to Wynyard Station. The journey including transfer takes approximately 53 minutes. We walked from Wynyard Station to Circular Quay Wharf 4 (approximately 14 minutes walk - 1.1km) to catch the 12.30pm ferry to Taronga Zoo.

It's a 10 minutes ferry ride and it was an enjoyable ride. You can choose to sit on the outdoor or indoor deck. We prefer the outdoor deck as we get to see the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison. Sam has four free passes to enter the Taronga Zoo and thanks to her we get to visit the Zoo for free! We took the Sky Safari cable car, a one-way trip and had a bird's eye view of the zoo. The Sky Safari opens at 9.30am until 5pm.

We picked up a Zoo map at the front entrance and followed the green rings on the map. You can even download the free Taronga App at taronga.org.au/app. We get to see Koalas, komodo dragon, anaconda, meerkats, giraffes, guinea pigs, alpacas, chickens, wombat, kangaroos, emus, tiger, otters, penguins, red pandas, seals and many more.

It was drizzling when we reached Circular Quay and luckily Sam brought extra umbrellas for us. So we walked over to Sydney Opera House and The Rock. We took a train back to Chatswood around 6.30pm and had our dinner at The Bulgogi.

We ordered boneless fried chicken, fresh pork belly and Premium Wagyu set for 2 person that comes with short rib, flap meat, cluck tail flap and chuck roll. Besides that, we ordered seafood pancake as well - scallion pancake with calamari, clam meat, octopus and shrimp served with soy sauce. Dinner was good and I just love the crispy fried chicken. Daz was fighting for the bill and he won. So I told them I'm buying dessert instead.

Right after dinner we had San Churros, one of the best places for churros. We ordered churros for two that comes with 2 dip cups of milk and dark chocolate. Apart from that, we ordered San Churro choc bowl as well. It comes with milk, dark and white chocolate ice cream, milk chocolate drizzle and chocolate fudge. It's a delicious way to end the night. :) We took a train back to Kellyville and reached home at 10pm. It's a long day but I love it. I enjoy the cool air and temperature was chilly around 11℃ at night.
