Philippines - Day 4

Metro Manila is known for its really bad traffic especially during rush hour. Our flight back to Kota Kinabalu Airport scheduled at 9.05am and we departed from New World Makati Hotel at 6am to avoid the rush hour. We took a Grab car (Cost: PHP 200) and reached Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 6.15am. It took us 15 minutes to reach the airport from our hotel.

Entrance to the airport is very strict as only passengers with boarding passes are allowed inside the airport. Your luggage have to go through security check twice. Once at the entrance of the airport terminal and another one before immigration. It took us almost an hour queuing at the immigration for clearance. Luckily we were early and have plenty of time.

We had our breakfast at Tapa King located at Terminal 3 inside the pre departure hall. Both of us had Tapa King comes with thin slices of tender beef, rice and a sunny side up egg. The food was okay, nothing superb. Initially I wanted to have Kenny Rodger's but they need at least 20 minutes for preparation. Our flight depart at 9.15am and finally we're back to Kota Kinabalu after an hour and 45 minutes flight journey. Even though it's a short trip of 4 days 3 nights, it's been an eye opening experience. It's great to explore different places to eat and drink.
