Four Points by Sheraton Sandakan

Four Points by Sheraton Sandakan is located on the waterfront, just beside Sandakan Harbour Mall. Both hotel and mall shared the same parking lot. This hotel is linked to the mall at Level 1 just beside the reception area. All you need is your room access card to enter the hotel lobby from the mall. (Fyi, the parking was horrendous. Fifth floors up and down the spiral parking ramp really made me dizzy. Besides that, it was rather inconvenient when you want to drive out because you need to look for the hotel car jockey at the ground floor, pass him your parking ticket and he will verify your parking ticket at the 5th floor parking office before passing the ticket back to you.)

We stayed in a deluxe room, comes with a king size bed, study table, in room safe, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, in room slippers, LCD TV (10 TV channels including local channels and limited Astro channels), self controlled air conditioning, hot / cold shower, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary 2 bottles of drinking water, mini fridge and toiletries. Hotel room comes with free internet access but slow browsing.

Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is spacious too but without any door lock and there's black stain under the rim of the toilet bowl. Average water pressure but it takes quite some time for the water to heat up. Apart from that, slow water drainage caused minor flooding in the bathroom when taking a shower. Luckily shower and toilet is separated with a glass door. Be careful of the shower floor tiles because it will be slippery when wet.
