We brought Shyan and Leo to this Mari Mari Cultural Village since they never been to one before. We decided to go for the 10am session as they need to catch their flight back home at 6pm. Our tour guide is a friendly guy named Ben. We were lucky because there's only six of us in a group. So, Ben showed us all the different homes of Sabahan ethnic communities and told us stories as well. The fun part of this tour is we get to have free food and drink tasting. Bamboo rice was good! Apart from that, we get to try honey, lihing, rice wine, tenom coffee, pandan juice, kuih jala and kuih pinjaram. At the end of the tour, there's a 30 minutes cultural performance before we have our lunch at 1pm.
