T.G.I Friday's - Subang Parade

My all time favourite Mocha Mud Pie dessert from T.G.I Friday's is back! Sigh... but sad to say it's only a guest appearance on 12th May 2013. The Mocha Mud Pie only stops by for Mother's Day, a one day event. How can I resist the temptation of not eating my favourite dessert? So off we go to T.G.I Friday's...

When we walked into the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the staff and escorted to our table in the non-smoking section. Before we sat down, the first question that we asked the staff was "Is the Mocha Mud Pie dessert still available for today?" T.G.I Friday's used to be our favourite hang out place. We love the environment, food, people and the dessert. However, ever since they changed the dessert menu and Jack Daniel's sauce, we seldom hang around at T.G.I Friday's. Jack Daniel's sauce is still the best compared to the Tennessee sauce.

Since Jack Daniel's no longer in the menu, I ordered the Tennessee Chicken & Shrimp: juicy fire-grilled chicken breasts drizzled with Tennessee sauce and some crispy Cajun-spiced fried shrimp. Served with Cheddar cheese mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

My partner ordered the Cowboy Triple Meat Burger: tender pieces of slow-cooked BBQ beef, melted Colby cheese and roasted beef bacon piled high with horseradish sauce and crispy frizzled onions. The burger came with crispy fries and a free can of Mountain Dew Live Wire when you flash your Pinch of Salt card.

Last but not least the mouth watering dessert - Mocha Mud Pie: rich chocolate-almond mousse and coffee ice cream frozen in a chocolate crumb crust topped with hot fudge and toasted almond slices... hmmnn.... simply delicious... I wonder when is the next appearance of the mocha mud pie in T.G.I Friday's...
